Friends,

We would like to announce that we have amended our cancellation policy for those whose 2020 travel will be affected by COVID-19.

“If, at the time of the trip, a guest is unable to join us (e.g., in the case of a travel ban), we will waive our normal cancellation policy and will fully reimburse the trip minus 5% to cover our credit card processing fees. If a guest were to simply decide to call off their trip out of preference and not necessity, Emerald Air Service will uphold our normal cancellation policy.”

We want this policy to help alleviate your worries. None of you want to cancel a dream Alaskan vacation, but if necessity demands it, don’t worry about a financial loss. We built this policy so that we all can give this situation as much time as possible to turn out well—doing our best to, in very real terms, prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

As always, if you have any questions about this policy update or about all things Emerald Air Service, send us a message or give us a call.

Also...

A HUGE Thank You!

We also want to take this opportunity to thank all of our summer guests! Instead of immediate cancellations, you all have been biding your time to see what will happen and only cancelling by absolute necessity. Speaking personally, it is beyond what I had hoped. Your acting in this way is a great help to us and to other small businesses.

Thank you so much!

~

I appreciate the clear communication about the new cancellation policy in this article. It’s always great to see companies adapting to the challenges we’ve all faced, especially in the wake of the pandemic. Speaking of getting away and finding peace of mind, a Yurt Retreat at Celestial Center would be a perfect way to escape the stress and disconnect from everyday life. Imagine relaxing in nature with a peaceful stay that allows for reflection and rejuvenation. It’s a great way to recharge, whether you’re traveling for business or just need some quiet time.
